UPDATE: NEW WAY

There has been a change in the way video is embedded.  The old way will still work but you may find the new way easier.  Here is an example:

So put the full URL(address) of the video in the middle between the youtube tags. No spaces.

I thought it'd be easier and less confusing this way.

OLD WAY - STILL WORKS

To embed a video in your post use the shortcode [site id] where you want the video to appear. Replace "site" with the name of the videosite and "id" with the video id.

An example of how to use the short code in text is as follows:

For a YouTube video with the URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..tGM7rZwS7v, the ID is FtGM7rZwS7v.  So in your post you would embed the video by typing:

[ youtube FtGM7rZwS7v ] <—the video will appear here

(remember to remove the space after the opening bracket and before the closing bracket when you are acutally posting, e.g. )

Please do not use the embed video option available in the text editor, as your embedded video will not work if you use it.
